10/11 July Heating Up

We've spent the last few days out and about but also trying to keep cool in these very warm conditions. Over 25C for both days!!

Yesterday it was a trip to Cardigan and a potter around. Then back for a cool down.

Feet up, cold drink and making a start on a book. Unfortunately I couldn't get into this one but with a book swap facility I'll have another one soon!

Today we managed to get a load of washing done and dried before walking into New Quay for the weekly market.

Home grown veg for sale there today. Unfortunately as we're off on our next adventure tomorrow I didn't buy any.

This afternoon we ventured out to Aberaeron for the honey ice cream. Delicious as always 😄.

With a very low tide the boats were high and dry in the harbour this afternoon. The work on the harbour wall still continues with rumours that it may be finished by end of August.

Back to the van we've taken it easy as it's a tad warm 🥵. But we've managed to pack most of our bits and pieces in the car ready for an early departure tomorrow.
