The rest of us arrived from Scotland, Kent and Wales within minutes of each other so could make a start on unpacking cars, loading up the boat and decanting baby stuff. How does such a little thing travel with so much stuff?
Anyway after a food shop in Pershore and collecting Ian from the train station we had a late lunch and eventually started on our narrow boat holiday.
With high temperatures there was lots of sun cream applications. Nothing below factor 50 with temperatures early in the day in the low 30s. By the time we set off the temperature was thankfully starting to reduce.
Moored up (tied to a tree at one end and attached to a stake at the other) we've enjoyed a cool breeze as we watched the sun go down. A pair of swans joined us for a while before they slowly floated off.
Tomorrow we go through Evesham and we may get as far as Stratford upon Avon.
