8/9 July In Holiday Mood

We've had a lovely couple of days enjoying our time in Wales.

Yesterday we ventured out to Aberystwyth for the day and got back in time for a swim. Junior is definitely going to be a water babe.

Today we awoke to mist rolling in from the sea. Luckily the sun soon burnt through and we've had a glorious day as we spent it in and around New Quay. Certainly having a work out pushing the pram up the hills!

The Black Lion pub was Dylan Thomas's local while he stayed in New Quay.

We had fish and chips for lunch sitting on the harbour wall. One side we could dolphin spot in the bay and the other watching the life boat being launched and recovered. Then the mist started to roll in again but fortunately it stayed mostly out at sea.

A bit of a warm evening but nice and cosy in the van.
