Now I'm going to reassure you that rain is not coming as far north as the Bay of Roses. However I could be watching the flood waters from our 3rd floor apartment tomorrow!
Currently there is no rain forecast in our area for the rest of the week although I do remember Michael Fish making a similar prediction so watch this space!!
Anyway Margaret was up for a walk today so I met her in Roses, having cycled to meet her as she lives more towards Roses. Having padlocked the bike near Tourist Information we ended up doing a 2 and half hour walk along the coast path in the Cap de Creus direction.
Near the Petit Canyelles bay. The beach bar that was here last week has been removed. It's probably stored on the roof of the hotel as that's where they took it from when we saw them build it at the beginning of a season one year.
Last time we were here at Canyelles Grande a week ago there were loads of jellyfish. The beach was fenced off but we couldn't see why.
Out to sea, off the bay, there was a square buoyed off area which could have something to do with it.
After our hike we stopped for a cuppa and then started on our way back with the sun starting to go down.
I think there's a new hot air balloon company about as this is the second one this week that's floated over near us.
Anyway once the sun starts to go down the temperature definitely dips. Socks and long trousers in the evening now. And I've started wearing my slippers instead of flip flops 😃.
