Before I start on my daily ramblings just a correction on yesterday's blog for those sharp eyed readers. The memorial service for dad is on Friday (tomorrow) not Sunday so I've amended yesterday's blog for readers who catch up later
Well 25 years ago today our first little bundle of joy came onto the scene. So it was lovely to have the day with Amy on her birthday as for the last few year's we've been abroad. A great excuse for lunch out. The Green Dragon in Little Stretton is always a favourite.
A delicious dessert on a birthday is an absolute must 😄.
I had the Sherry Trifle - delicious 😋.
We'd gone shopping for a birthday cake and came across a Pic and Mix one. What a fabulous idea - chocolate, coffee, lemon and victoria sandwich. A flavour for everyone.
