A frost this morning. A good 15 degrees less than what I've been having the same time in Spain. So it was thick jumpers for breakfast this morning.
A quiet morning before heading to the Funeral Directors where we had Dad's memorial. If you can say a memorial was lovely then I'd say Dad's was. A mixture of emotions, some lovely music and a few laughs along the way. I managed to get through the eulogy without too many sobs and a damp hanky.
Dad would've loved the tea afterwards with loads of cake and cups of tea.
Anyway he had a lovely send off. Next we will have to organise his trip to New Zealand for his final resting place. Could be another family event to get him there as we'd all love a trip out there! 😄
