31 July Another Scorcher

Not a great deal to report today as we enjoy another hot one. 

This morning we went out locally for a bit of shopping and ended up having lunch in the little cafe 'Herbies'. I've not had scampi and chips for a while so I enjoyed my meal.

Then it was back to enjoy my new read and an ice cream in the garden. Taking it easy having a lounge, a nap and catch up on how GB are doing in their medal haul over in Paris.

It'll be more Olympic highlights this evening and I've started watching The Turkish Detective on iPlayer. Quite enjoying it despite having to read the subtitles when they speak in Turkish - only dropped a few stitches in the duck project so far 😀.

Thunderstorms on the cards tomorrow in some parts of the UK. Not sure if we'll get any but it's definitely been a sweaty day today 🥵.
