1 August Slow Puncture

No thunderstorms yet but still a possibility overnight. It was quite hot and humid this morning and then gradually cooled down throughout the day. With the garden in the shade late afternoon it's been lovely sitting watching the butterflies flutter about in the greenery whilst listening to the wood pigeons (the ones that sit in the tree and normally poop on Rolo if I park in the wrong place).

With this ideal sitting outside weather in the garden I've made a start on another book - Fair Game by Stephen Leather. A Spider Shepherd thriller about an MI5 undercover agent tackling a Somali pirate issue. A good read so far.

After lunch I went for a spin in Rolo but had to pump up the same tyre as a few weeks ago. Either a slow puncture or a leaky valve. Ian's back from his sailing adventures on Saturday so he can pass judgement. Poor Rolo is also having problems with a running light as well which Ian has fixed previously. Sometimes it doesn't come on so it needs a whack as there must be a dodgy connection. Unfortunately the last few times the whack method hasn't worked indicating a requirement for further investigation by my mechanic specialist 😀.

Anyway more Olympics to catch up on this evening. Dad has been taking an interest which is lovely and we have successfully completed the daily crossword without using a Thesaurus (must've been an easy one today). More brain training tomorrow 😊.
