A very pleasing trip to the tip this morning with a car full of stuff. I was very careful in disposing everything in the correct container but a bloke in the next car was telling me to put the old carpets in with soft furnishings, as that where he was putting his. After checking with the staff I was very pleased to let him know that I was putting it in the correct place!!! He looked a bit sheepish 😂.
The garage is pristine now with only one cupboard full of books and papers left to sort through. A job for later in the week as there's no space in the paper recycling bin which is collected on Thursday.
We've enjoyed a scorcher of a day. Ice creams in the garden this afternoon and then the evening catching up on the diving and swimming events in the Olympics.
I feel a trip to Ludlow coming on. A day out having a potter tomorrow on the books.
