We decided to have a day staying put in Stratford upon Avon today.
First stop a market by the canal basin.
Then off around the town taking in the architecture.
Alms houses originally built for the elderly and still used to home the elderly.
Inside Holy Trinity churwhere Shakespeare is buried.
An interesting lamp post.
Outside Shakespeare's birth place.
Then we visited a museum that we last came to about 10 years ago.
An amazing place - definitely worth a couple of hours just to see everything work.
Ian and I had the afternoon in the Everyman cinema at a silver screening of Superman - discounted entry, hot drink and cake whilst sitting on a sofa with cushions! Luxury 😊.
Tomorrow we're back on our travels with just a few days before we return the boat. Heading back to Evesham tomorrow.
