2 July Aberaeron Trip

A gorgeous day in comparison to yesterday's winter conditions. Ideal for a trip up the coast to Aberaeron.

The harbour wall work is coming along nicely with the new toughened glass in place, although you can't yet sit by the outer harbour.

The inner harbour still resembles a building site. However, work on the stepped seating by the pedestrian bridge seems to be progressing well.

We enjoyed a fish lunch in the Harbour master restaurant which overlooks the outer harbour.

Then it was a short walk down the harbour wall to get our pud. Honeycomb for me  - delicious!

Back to the van it was time to catchup on how the Brits have done in Wimbledon and an opportunity to finish my library book. It needs to be returned soon so I thought I'd better get on with some concentrated reading. With a good brew and a comfy seat in the warmth I soon ploughed through it.

Tomorrow we're both heading back to our homes. Although Mum will be back by lunch time whereas I'll be more like dinner time. Thankfully I've got air conditioning in the car 😄.
