5 June Serious Cleaning

You have the delights of a double whammy today as I didn't realise until this morning that yesterday's blog hadn't loaded.

Well today has been a serious cleaning day starting with a massive load of washing being taken down to the laundromat even before we had breakfast! Then once fuelled up on greek yogurt and berries, washed down by a couple of cups of coffee, the serious cleaning commenced.

We both started out on the balcony with my job to blitz all the outdoor furniture and then give the balcony tiles a wash down.

Ian tackled the windows and kept getting side tracked with other cleaning issues.

Then we emptied the main living room out on to the balcony to tackle the cleaning in there. As I said a serious clean, especially for someone who hates domestic chores!

At this point we had to have a break to go and get some duty free, doughnuts for tomorrow's breakfast and lunch stuff. Then it was back for lunch, the final clean and packing stuff away that we don't need to take home - we've got our luggage down to a minimum for this journey. We have New Zealand Margaret and her huge suitcase joining us for the route back.

With very little left to eat we enjoyed dinner out this evening with Chris from Kent and NZ Margaret in La Casolla. A very enjoyable last night in Spain until our return in September.
