We all had our last morning on the beach. Luckily this time we managed to snaffle a spot under the trees so got some shade without having to put up the UV tent.
Unfortunately the wind was picking up and the waves were rolling in. Definitely not snorkeling conditions and not ideal for a bit of baby paddling. A mini paddling pool session back on the balcony would have to do.
With Amy heading back this evening we had lunch out along the prom in Las Palmeras. By the time we walked along most of the beach goers had abandoned any idea of swimming or sunbathing as the sand was starting to blow about. A bit of a deserted beach in comparison to the packed one this weekend!
Our drive to the airport was pretty straightforward and I helped Amy sort out getting as far as security. Luckily with us returning in a few days time she didn't have to take much. Just had to practice collapsing the pram one handed (other arm holding baby) as it had to be folded up and put through the security x-ray thing.
Anyway despite them having nearly an hour's delay we've heard that they arrived back in the UK and were making their way home.
