We don't tend to be there long as it's pretty hot despite going just after breakfast. But we had enough time for Ian to go snorkeling while we were splashing in the shallows with the little one. We ended up sitting on the sand with the waves washing up over our feet and occasionally getting drenched when a big wave came in.
Amy and I noticed that a disadvantage of this position is the amount of sand that makes it's way into your swimming costume. Despite attempts to plunge into the sea afterwards to get rid of it, we still ended up bringing a substantial amount back, which needed a good power shower to remove without Ian getting too worried about us blocking up the plug!
This afternoon we had friends over for drinks. Very civilised sitting on the balcony with the afternoon sun just starting to come round our side. We even had ice creams as we're running our freezer stocks down in our final few days.
