27 June Leaping Dolphins

I've enjoyed a very active day and dolphin spotting.

After a hearty breakfast I walked up to have a moan about the state of the grassy area outside the van. So hopefully someone is now on the case.

Outside New Quay Memorial Hall they've finished off their garden. It looks very colourful.

Then it was a pit stop for a cuppa before sitting on the harbour wall looking out for dolphins. And today there were loads! It was the first time I've seen them Leaping out of the water in the bay. It seemed to be a co-ordinated affair as they all did it together even though they were fairly spread out. This boat trip must've had a fantastic close up view of their display.

After my energetic walk and lunch it was back to the van for afternoon tea and a well earned rest.

Then I decided to tackle the weeds - until it started to drizzle.

Having watched this evening's TV weather forecast it looks like we'll all be having a hot few days. Going to have to break out the suncream and hat 😎.
