We headed into Perth for a potter round after a bit of a detour getting there. The logical route to Perth out of the village took us on a dual carriageway with no way off for 4 miles. No wonder I get a bad reputation with my navigation when the roads are illogical 😆.
We made a start on the sculpture trail, after we'd sourced a new sweatshirt for Freddie as he'd forgotten to pack any tops other than t-shirts! Despite the blue skies it's not quite Kent weather up here!
The River Tay was looking calm today as we made our way along the trail. There was a bit of a nip to the air so we were all pleased to have an extra layer on until the sun warmed up later in the afternoon.
It was also lovely catch up with my old flatmate John while in Perth. Our rendezvous was Perth Museum cafe. It was a bit confusing when we discovered there's also a Perth Museum and Art Gallery - luckily we chose the correct one.
After an Asda shop to purchase BBQ essentials we headed back to our Airbnb to make a start on food preparation. We ended up having an exceptionally warm and sunny evening entertaining on our very bright balcony. With a good forecast for the week I think we'll be making good use of it.
