First an update on the deafness ... I'm still hearing through a muffled layer but there has been some slight improvement. I might be booking myself into Specsavers on my return at this rate for a hearing test!!
With regard to our new mozzie nets (although they do look a bit like one of those pop up cake covers), I'd say they've been pretty successful as I've been nibble free. The only negative has been the hassle in getting the mattress into it as Ian thought that would be the most effective way of using it. For the faffing getting it in I'd have to say Amy's option is better.
She slept inside her tent, on top of the mattress, with her bedding inside as that was the only option whilst sleeping on the sofa bed. The travel cot has been inside a small tent and that worked well.
Anyway with it being a Sunday it's market day. An opportunity to walk along the prom and check out what's currently in vogue in the market.
A few beach goers this morning.
There are large concrete dividers between the bike land and where the pedestrians walk.
New signs have popped up to put off the illegal tradesmen on the prom and deter people from buying from them.
New sand sculptures along the prom. There was even a fire blowing dragon.
Getting up quite a pace - we don't want to miss any market bargains 😁.
After a successful market with several items purchased, we returned along the prom for a late lunch, a chill on the balcony and some reading. An ideal way to spend an afternoon 😊.
