Well I've enjoyed a very relaxing Sunday. So not much to say other than this morning I managed to buy some strawberries (not quite the Empuiabrava market price) and investigated the cost of Easter eggs (ridiculously high!). Whilst shopping I also noticed the variety of hot cross bun on offer.
OK. Who out there is eating these weird and wonderful flavours? In my mind a hot cross bun comes as one bog standard flavour, is cut in half, toasted and served topped with butter. The thought of a strawberries and cream flavour just does not do it for me.
Anyway we managed to squeeze in a brisk Sunday afternoon walk along the riverside. Luckily no high tides, but there was a busy riverside pub where we stopped for coffee and flapjacks in the sunshine.
Rather pleasingly I've read that the Scandinavian breeze, which is causing our current nippy weather, is dying down by the end of the week. It'll soon be 'taps off'!
After our quiet day it looks like tomorrow is going to be busy. We're lined up for a walk and then lunch out so a packed day for the girls.
