5 April Wine Delivery

After a slow start to the morning I went off on a wine delivery run to some of our friends, who we met in Spain but also live just 20 minutes away from us in Kent.

They always fly out to their place, as they have a car out there, whereas we always drive. This means we have taken small bits and pieces out for them that can't fit in hand luggage, with this trip being a wine and olive oil delivery.

It was lovely to catch up with them and comment on how we're having more sunshine in Kent than we had our in Spain. Trust us Brits to get onto the weather!!

In the afternoon it was a trip to Kings Hill to collect a jacket that had been ordered and I came across this art piece. Not one I'd noticed before as I don't usually walk in from the direction I used from the car park. It's always quite pleasant to come across something new and different. 

I also found out after a bit of googling that there are quite a few sculptures around Kings Hill. I've set myself a challenge to go on the trail to visit them all this year. You'll have to see if I do it or not!!

This evening I've been watching an ITVx police drama The Bay. I hadn't realised I had two series to catch up on. A great excuse to enjoy with my 3 chocolates (I've rationed myself otherwise the box would be empty on one sitting) which are delicious. I've got another 3 evenings to go before they're finished and then it's back to an evening apple! 😆
