4 April Haircut Friday

Ian was up and out early this morning with his rucksack, getting a lift with Freddie to the train station. He was heading out for an early train to get to Portsmouth for the start of his CCF course. While he's away I'm going to hopefully catch up with my friends so it'll be a busy time until I next see him in Wales.

With our travelling around I always try to sort out a haircut every couple of months, or at least when we're back in Kent. This usually means that I have to take remedial action on my fringe when needs must, with a pair of nail scissors. I have gained some experience of chopping away at it over the last few years.😆

Poor Emily, my hairdresser, always has a laugh at my attempts as I think my cut looks straight but when she's having to sort it out it's all over the shop!

Anyway, a very enjoyable girl's morning having my hair put in order first and then Amy had a cut and blow-dry. All presentable for the next couple of months!

Today we had another warm day with temperatures supposedly higher than in Málaga. Another good day for getting washing dried outside. Certainly makes a difference to having to have the tumble drier in action and the washing smells different when it's line dried. Can't quite describe it but definitely a fresh, outdoor smell!

With our next week showing a continuation of the decent weather I'm looking forward to getting some walks completed. I already have a few walks planned with friends next week.
