28 April Chopping and Sewing

A pleasant day today. Warmer than yesterday and we managed to spend quite some time outside.

Ian has been working on clearing the brambles behind the van.

It's an annual event as the brambles grow so much that when there's a breeze they scratch the back of the van. This causes a very creepy screechy noise during the night, especially as it's at the end where we sleep!!

After a trip over to Aberaeron to buy a wool sewing needle I could eventually finish sewing up my knitting projects. Although I couldn't sew on the buttons on another mini jacket as the eye of the needle was too big to fit through the holes on the buttons!! Argh!! Hopefully Mum will have a suitably sized needle for me to get them sewn on.

With the improvement in weather there's been a few more people coming on site. Nice to catch up with people we haven't seen since last year.

I think we'll take ourselves out for the day tomorrow. We'll decide in the morning which way we'll go.
