Having ordered a new carbon monoxide monitor from Screwfix in Cardigan it seemed like a good place to go. So about 25 minutes heading south along the coast we collected our order and then parked up near the Bowling Club to avoid the dreaded parking charges.
We haven't been to Cardigan for a while so it was a bit of a novelty to have a bit of a peramble about. There were new places that we discovered as well.
One place that we hadn't been to previously was the Indoor Market where there was a wicker fox sculpture on show. It had been used in last winter's festival of lights and there's currently a fund raiser going on to keep it in the town.
Made about 10 years ago, as part of a local community activity, it represents Cardigan. The River Teifi, bridge and town.
Another thing we discovered was coconut Aero. Although I like a Bounty this didn't appeal so we didn't get any. Now a mint Aero ....
On our way back our route was blocked. Not just a tractor, which is a common event around the narrow country lanes, but a digger which was being taken off a trailer. Luckily it was only us waiting and we managed to negotiate getting around it without to much hassle.
Then it was back home to continue the new project which I made a start on last night. This evening our TV watching has been accompanied by rain on the roof - but at least we're in our of the wet today!
