20 April Happy Easter

We've enjoyed a lovely family Easter Day. Chocolate eggs and a trip for honey ice cream.

We have been fortunate to have had a bright sunny day. So before we spent the afternoon in Aberaeron enjoying honey ice cream we walked up to New Quay where there were more Easter Egg gathering opportunities. We were given one for the baby which Amy has first dibs on as Mum.

Aberaeron is still undergoing some major harbour works as part of the flood defence work.

There is now glass panelling to separate the harbour side walkway from the road. It'll be interesting to see the finished project.

There is also a new harbour wall extension going out to sea.You might remember from last summer's blog about the digger that got stuck out in the sea putting out the huge blocks of stone. This is the resulting work. Hopefully less flooding in the winter.

Anyway from tomorrow afternoon it's going to be a bit quieter as it's going to be just Ian and I for the next 10 days. Fingers crossed for some decent weather.
