I'm not sure when it all finished but this morning it was dry and warm. So outside on the balcony after breakfast.
I saw on BBC news that the town of Cadaques, just north of us had some flooding. Knowing the town and where these cars have been 'washed away', they were probably parked in the town's storm drain/dried river bed, which for the most of the year seems like an ideal place to park for free. So unfortunately no sympathy from me as that area clearly says it's liable to flood and not for parking.
Wanting to see if we had any local flooding, later this afternoon we took a stroll along the front.
Luckily the workmen had been out over the past few days to create a small channel. T down to the water's edge. This small channel has vastly increased in size from the water coming down off the hills.
As soon as the holiday season is finished the workmen arrive. Looks like a spate of balconies being renovated on one of the beach side apartment blocks. We'll be keeping an eye on it's progress over the last few weeks here.
Over the weekend we have the Festivalet - beach side music and drinks up near the harbour. We hope to have dry weather for it so fingers crossed that we get at least the Saturday or Sunday night having a boogie 😄.
