6 November Cycle Adventure

Today Ian and I headed off on a cycle adventure to Vilanova de la Muga. A good 15-20 miles we reckon.

Our journey took us on our normal route to Empuiabrava across the nature reserve. 

Then we stopped in Castelleo d'Empuries for a cuppa and a bit of a wonder.

On the road to Vilanova de la Muga we spotted some unusual fruits.

A bit like a papaya or a ribbed mango. They grew in a vine like plant which were growing over some fences along the road. We haven't as yet been able to identify them.

We got yo our final destination which is on the banks of the River Muga.

The village church is a typical Catalan rustic type building.

After having a potter around it was back on the bikes to do the return trip. We certainly did a good work out today 😃. Tomorrow's likely to be less active as it looks like rain. However. knowing the normal forecasts we get it probably won't.
