With it being a Sunday, and not having gone to Roses market last week because of the Autumn Fair in Empuiabrava, we strolled up the prom in the gradually warming day. It was a definite hat wearing day in the sun shine.
We passed a pleasant morning mooching around the stalls (without making a purchase this week), stopping for a coffee and meandering back to the apartment for a relaxing afternoon on the balcony. A bit of sewing for me and Ian was catching up on some reading.
Heading back from our last La Cassola dinner of the season I remembered I hadn't taken a photo. So we managed to snap one as we walked back after a few lemoncellos!
Whilst sitting in the restaurant we saw a framed poster of Roses Carnival which occurs every February towards the end of that month. We've never been, as it's a bit earlier than the time we normally come out here. Maybe we'll change things up and come out for the 5 day celebration one year. It would need some careful day counting to ensure we're within our 90 day Brexit allowance. Something to consider 😃.
