Margaret borrowed Ian's bike and I took her on a bit of a local tour, first heading across the nature reserve to Empuiabrava. Here we stopped off to see what the Autumn Fair had on offer.
There was a Flamenco show with dances from all age groups. The youngest group (probably 5-6 year olds) were really funny with their attitudes and stompy feet. Very cute too.
Back on the bikes we rode along the side of the River Muga into Castelleo d'Empuries - Margaret managed to wobble going up one of the paths and fell off!! Luckily only a grazed knee and no dislocated hip!
After our exploration of the town we then continued our journey back to the Sky Diving centre to watch the parachutists float down. It's always quite relaxing just watching them float down.
We ended up returning via Lidl to get doughnuts for tea. Finally we got back by 4.30pm just as the sun went behind the building in front of us. A good day out and Margaret is getting to know a bit more of the surrounding area.
Currently no plans for tomorrow as it looks like rain but I'll see how it goes.
