30 August Slow Journey Back

As usual the M25 showed itself in its true colours as most of it was a car park on the journey south.

I left about 9.45 with just under 2 hours to Rob's for a pit stop, cuppa and a quick catch up before I was on the road again. Back on the motorway the traffic chugged along at a reasonable pace and I stopped at Beaconsfield, last services on the M40 south.

Here I had the fantastic news that the onward journey was getting worse!😬 So nearly double the normal journey time around the M25. The first hold up was a caravan in the outside lane that had lost a wheel and the next 2 hold ups seemed to be just volume of traffic - very frustrating.

Anyway I'm now relaxing after emptying Rolo and trogging all the bags upstairs. Feet up, coffee on the go and a bit of Trigger Point on ITV catch up. I do like a bit of a police drama to get my teeth into 😄.
