A relaxing Sunday. Newspapers, a bit of knitting out for lunch and a spot of Vera on TV in the evening. A good detective drama to round off the evening.
We tried out Sunday roast in the local pub. What massive portions! Definitely no room for a pud after roast chicken, potatoes, carrots and parsnips as well as cauliflower cheese, broccoli spears and a huge Yorkshire pudding. Deeeelicious!!!
After waddling back with stuffed stomachs we needed a bit of a sit down before our afternoon trip into Bishop's Castle.
They've been resurfacing the road but looks like someone didn't get the message! There is a neat bit of tarmacing around a car that wasn't moved in time.
After checking out Rolo's slow leak - a bit of air needed - I've got everything ready for my trip up north tomorrow morning. About 5-6 hours drive so I'll be there for dinner 😄.
