9th January No Snow but Freezing 🥶

I'm definitely a warm climate person. This cold weather is getting irritating as it means layering up in the morning and putting even more layers on when going out. I prefer getting up and deciding what pair of shorts to put on and that the only extra layers I need involve slapping on sun cream.

Anyway I had a morning in getting creative with wool that I've recycled from an unwanted cardigan. Quite pleased with what I've managed so far, especially the cabling bit.

This afternoon I met up with Teresa for a cuppa. We were exchanging ideas on what to see in New Zealand and the delights of booking flights, visas and checking in. The up to date films and freebies on long haul flights are always a positive.

Unfortunately this evening has been a bit stressful as Freddie was dropped off after work rather than driving. The car keys have gone missing! No worries we thought we have a spare set ...... However, we've not managed to locate them so far!😱 

We've decided to abandon further rummaging around in every possible bag, box, container, shelf, pocket, drawer and shoe (we found some keys in a shoe but not sure what they open 😄) until day light. Searching in artificial light doesn't really make things easy. Hopefully in the light of day Freddie will find the original keys at work and we'll locate the spares. If not we're heading up to Scotland in Rolo.

Fingers crossed for positive vibes tomorrow. You never know we might end up doing a bit of an intense spring clean at the same time.
