10th January Keys Found!

What a relief! The original keys have been located. Found in a van Freddie had moved yesterday so big smiles this evening. Especially as it's saved us having a massive upheaval in trying to find a spare.

This morning I've spent time trying to look at our holiday plans. Checking out Airbnb and Booking.com costs for accommodation. Looks like Booking.com has more selection and is cheaper for New Zealand and vice versa in Australia. We just need to make some decisions and some tentative bookings so we're a bit more organised by the time we head off.

Later this afternoon I met up with Pauline for a cuppa and a catch up. Always lovely to see her - we always have a laugh. I now have an order for fridge magnets from my travels 😄.

As we are off to Scotland tomorrow I made toffee krispies as Peter likes these. I like them as well so hopefully there will be some left by the time we arrive!

We're leaving late afternoon to Peterborough to avoid the M25 on a Friday morning. A more leisurely start to the day and gets us a couple of hours closer to Scotland. Our journey on Friday will be shorter as well.
