8th January A Bit of Snow

Monday is walking day! So I checked out the forecast, which didn't look too bad, and it was dry when I left. However it started to snow as I was driving over to the lakes but it didn't last too long.

So it was on with the walk....

One lap completed and the snow started in Ernest 

Getting a bit snow soggy we abandoned our walk and headed for a coffee in nearby Tesco. A nice spot to get warm and dry and continue our conversation - chatting about bird watching today.

By the time I returned back home the snow was starting to settle.  Later though, despite the continuing sleet, it eventually disappeared. So we'll have to see if there's any when we get up in the morning.
