31st December Happy New Year!

Well what a day!

Amy was at work so the rest of us headed off into London to meet up with The Tassells for a city trail. Ian wasn't too impressed driving through the rain as we headed to Tower Bridge to park (on Sundays you can park for free). With blue skies breaking through I was being more positive 😄. I did make sure we all had raincoats - thankfully.

Before starting our walk we stopped to fuel up on Stollen and hot chocolates.

We ended up walking from St Paul's Cathedral all the way past Guy's Hospital - brought back memories of nursing 40 years ago but it's changed so much.

By the time we'd stopped for a late lunch, dodged the rain and finished our trail it was dark!

Back home for a celebratory dinner, followed by an interactive spooky escape room game (joined by Peter on line after we had to set up a different screen - our TV went caput!) and fireworks from the neighbours.
