We picked up the van at 9, made sure we'd fully checked it and photographed anything that looked like a mark or scuff (we've learnt over the years that this is the only way, especially if hiring abroad). Then we were off to start moving Peter and Scott into their new home.
Amazing how much stuff can be stored away in small cupboards - we soon had a full van. Then off to the new place.
There have been several items left by the previous people. This natty head thing (for the life of me I can't remember what they're called) will look good on Amy. She's got a wedding in April and I know she's been looking for one - fascinator (just remembered 😅).
The Paws Patrol curtains will be finding a new home as they don't quite go with Peter's colour scheme. I think baby Lucas will be benefiting from these.
By 6pm, after 2 van loads had been delivered and most of the second one unloaded, we'd had enough. The troops downed tools and drove out to dinner in a nearby pub. Afterwards it was a quick dart into Asda for breakfast bits before heading back for an early night.
Unpacking starts in the morning 😄.
