6th December Pamper Day

After last having a proper hair cut in a salon the day before going to Spain, way back at the beginning of September, my hair has grown a bit out of control. A much needed pamper, head massage and hair cut. I reckon I've lost a few lbs with the amount cut off! My hair dresser always says I've got really thick hair - so there's probably enough to stuff a cushion.

While I was at the hairdresser's Ian got in the roof space. Christmas decorations and the nativity scene have been unearthed. Maybe a job for Amy and Freddie at the weekend to get the decorations up.

Later this morning we popped over to where we used to live for a catch up. Odd seeing our house being lived in by someone else but as always happy memories.

This afternoon, with frost still on the grass and freezing conditions, we had a walk to Sainsbury's to get some bread. Not quite the same as walking along the sea front in Spain. Absolutely freezing 🥶!

Later on, when Amy got back from work, we started on some present wrapping. We were quite an efficient team and managed to get pressies wrapped for everyone Ian and I are going to see over the next week.

Tomorrow I'm off to Hove to catch up with my nursing degree buddy. Always a lovely occasion so I'm really looking forward to seeing her, especially as we've not had much time to get together over the last few years.
