28th December Early Anniversary

A year ago Amy and I were heading to The Bull allowing Freddie and crew to head off on his Stag do. Leaving Amy to enjoy a lovely relaxing evening with the girls before their wedding day on the 29th.

Unfortunately work wasn't able to give Amy a day off on their anniversary so they've celebrated it a day early. They even had celebratory cakes made by the lady who made their cake. Not just to celebrate their anniversary but also because on their wedding day they only tasted the bottom layer, missing out on the top flavour. 

While the happy couple have been out all day on an adventure the remaining happy couples either spent it in Wildwood taking lots of animal photos or visiting family. Guess where I've been 😀.

When everyone had returned from their various trips we ended up talking about Christmas films. From the floor where Amy was constructing a Lego flower display, came a little voice querying what Die Hard was about. What!!!! A real Christmas classic. So we just had to watch it. Considering it was made 35 years ago it's still a pretty good film. This has now led to a Die Hard feast as we're now looking to watch at least Die Hard 2 (if we can find it being shown on one of the streaming channels we can get access to).

Despite the dreary evening we've all enjoyed a meal 'out'. No washing up tonight!
