27th December Keeping Busy

Not sure where today went! 

This morning Peter was charged with sorting out passport sized photos for us to get printed for our International driving licences. Yes, it's a bit archaic but we had to print off a photo, take it to the Post Office where they filled in a card with our details, used a glue stick to stick the photo on and a hand stamp to indicate the categories we can drive. I thought we were supposed to be in the digital age!

Anyway our digital whizz managed to get 8 passport sized photos on a 6x4 inch print which we managed to print off in Tesco for 65p!!! Definitely a worthy cost cutting exercise.

With Ian off to sort out a TV and shower with Freddie I walked back from the Post Office. A brisk walk in the breeze. Not as gusty as it's been for some today but at least it was dry so it was quite a refreshing walk.

Back home Peter and I have made a start on one of our Escape Room games. This one has jigsaw puzzles to add to the riddles so it's extra tricky. We managed to complete half before dinner and have saved the remainder for tomorrow. It's been a busy puzzle/games week with a family Logo game yesterday. Loved that one!

Hopefully we have a dry day tomorrow. It would be lovely to have a day out 😀.
