22nd December Summer is Coming!

It's official. We're heading to summer as the days now start getting longer. To celebrate I dragged the members of the family not at work out on a walk. So we headed to West Malling for a potter and coffee before going to East Malling on a geocache hunt (not done for a while).

Knowing my poor navigational history Peter took control. I think he was worried that we'd end up in a dried river bed, hacking our way out with bamboo canes.

With the hint of 'duck' can you find one of our geocache finds? Well camouflaged.

We must've been in an area for 'ducks'. 

Sadly we managed to only locate 3 out of the 4 geocaches as we couldn't work out how to get to the third. I think we'll have to make another trip to see how we can get to it.

After lunch we got a game out that caused much debate, as my interpretation of the rules was quite different to Peters. It was one of those conundrums as the way he interpreted it was as valid as mine but both had different outcomes. We eventually made up our own rules and managed to sort it out.

This evening we were playing a 'what is it' style of game using modelling clay to try to model the word. Some very inventive sculptures and questionable art work but we got to be pretty good at guessing 😄. Looking forward to trying out more games over the weekend.
