6th November Abandoned Walk

Today I checked out the forecast and we decided that we could risk a walk this morning but would be better off staying in this afternoon.

As we didn't want to go too far afield we decided on a walk along the opposite river side at Sant Pere Pescador to the side we went last week. This side had 4 geocaches to find!

The riverside walk in some parts was a bit of an overgrown trail. But we're used to it!

We successfully found 2 geocaches without a hitch.

Unfortunately the few nights of rain we've had recently meant the footpath got to a stage that we couldn't go any further. It was also getting a bit mozzie infested and with my history of being mozzie food we abandoned this walk.

Instead we had a walk around the town - very desserted in this winter month. We did however manage to locate another geocache which made up for not being able to get to the other two. We'll have to see if we can get to them next year when we return and it's dry.

We found a maggot dispensing machine! Not something you'd see in Maidstone high street.

Back for lunch and the last of the sunshine before we had a bit of rain. Nothing much but we did have a few puddles. No rain forecast tomorrow so we might get out on the bikes.
