27th November Final Day in Spain

Our last day here! Spent tidying, packing, defrosting the freezer, getting everything in the car and getting the apartment winter ready.

This morning we got everything packed up and ready to move to the car by getting it into the hallway. Bags, bottles, booze and baggages everywhere! By this stage we were ready for some fresh air so had a peramble to Roses.

Ready for the afternoon after our walk along a desserted beach.

After lunch we took Rolo to be journey ready - fuelled up and tyres checked. Then we did a last minute shop to get a few bits for home before heading back to load up the trolley (there are 3 shopping trollies in the apartment block for residents to use to cart stuff about). 

Ian, super car packing expert, managed to get everything in with room to spare. Amazing how much you can stuff in Rolo.

Next job was to get the outside furniture inside for winter. All in and ready!

Then it was dinner as the cupboards are bare! Tonight I had grilled sardines for my starter, before brochettes de porc and rounded off with tiramisu - yum! 

So tomorrow we'll be off before breakfast as we start our trek up through France on day 1 of our 2 day journey.
