24th November A Windy Friday

We had thought that the wind had died down but it's back with a vengeance. This has meant that our planned bike ride to get the bikes returned is currently on hold. That is unless we want to replicate that ET scene where the bikes take off! 

So today has otherwise been relaxed and quiet in a not much going on sort of sense. We did, however, manage to drag ourselves out to empty the bins and walk down to Roses. This time we timed it so we could get a caramel macchiato for Ian and a latte with a ping dougnut ball for me from MacDonalds (the only cafe open and out of the wind - no sunshine today).

A bit of a beach oasis this morning.

After lunch I've been using up lots of wool oddments to make some crochet squares. Not sure what I'm going to with them yet but I do like the colour combinations. My maths guru has also informed me that with my 9 colours and 5 rows in each square that there are thousands of combinations. I don't need to worry about them being the same, just running out of wool 😃.

Tonight I think is going to be a jumper and blanket evening catching up on I'm a Celebrity. We have to watch it on catch up so are a few episodes behind especially after Tuesday's episode was removed by ITVX because of the Fred and Nella incident. However that episode now appears to be back on line. Then last night Ian nodded off as soon as we got in so no catch up last night either. So we've got 3 episodes to watch!

Tomorrow we're off on to an olive oil festival. Yes, it's all go here 😄. Not having been to one before it's all an adventure.
