13th November Mild Monday

Today was a moochy about sort of day with nothing planned. The weather was good and perfect for getting a load of washing on so that seemed like a good start to the day.

We were more organised this time and took our books to read while the washing was being done. Couldn't fault the view 😄.

Laden down with washing we managed to get everything on the line to dry out on the balcony. With a gentle breeze and the sunshine it seemed like a good idea to finish off my book while Ian was making a lemon cake. He's already started on the 'let's use up everything in the cupboard' mode. Luckily we still have flour and lemon juice left for a few days worth of breakfast pancakes.

The rest of the day has been pretty chilled. Cups of tea, slices of lemon cake (yum), a bit of suduko and a bit of tapestry. We may have a similar day tomorrow as the weather is good but then again we may go out exploring - that's the joy of being retired 😊.
