9th October A Local Geocache

We woke to a very foggy start to the day (or should I say mist? I never know as it's over the canal so it's probably mist).

The mist/fog cleared by the time we'd finished breakfast and turned out to be a bright and sunny day. With regards to doing anything we had nothing much on the schedule today -  I forgot that I was supposed to be continuing my scrubbing the balcony walls until I started writing this 😅.

So, as I finished another Stuart MacBride book (I love his Detective Logan MacCrae stories) I felt it was time to drag Ian out on a walk. He came along without any fuss 😀.

Stopped for an impromptu snap by the beach - Ian caught unawares!

Having walked all the way to Roses we then turned back taking a different route so we could track down a geocache (and it wasn't 10 miles off the beaten track).

An easy one - Ian making a record of our find.

On route we came across some odd fruits.

This is the fruit with what look like red beans popping out.

A close up of a riper, dried fruit. Any ideas what it is?

Anyway after our horticultural diversion we returned to base and enjoyed our recent afternoon routine - lunch, snooze, read, cup of tea, a bit of suduko and then a think about what's for dinner.

Now sitting on the balcony with a glass of Tinto waiting for dinner (Ian on cooking duty tonight). I might consider continuing cleaning the balcony tomorrow - although I don't want to overdo things and leave myself with nothing to do in the coming weeks 😁.
