So today it's been reading, sewing and suduko. However, as there wasn't a walk on the agenda I started to get itchy feet so I made a start on cleaning the balcony wall. Don't panic - it can't be categorised as housework as it was outside!
Firstly I had to source some equipment. I found some old rubber gloves tucked in the back of a cupboard and the floor mop bucket. Gloves were donned, as there was dried seagull pooh to contend with and a scrubber definitely needed to work on the dried on and dessicated poop. So the work began .... I managed to get about a third of the wall done and the balcony mopped before I felt I'd had enough. A job for tomorrow 😀.
After my burst of energy I had a lazy afternoon but then Ian started to rummage around in the storage box and generally bash and crash as cupboards were open and emptied. He was looking for a piece to go in a sunlounger that was missing for some reason.
No worries as per usual he found something to fix it!
After this flurry of activity the sun was gradually going down so it was time to close the doors and spray the mozzie spray around. Tomorrow we'll get out for a walk - I break the news to Ian in the morning 😅.
