We enjoyed a warm and windy start to the day as we headed out up the prom to the market in Roses. There were plenty of kite and wind surfers out in the breeze.
Quite a group out skimming across the sea surface. There were one or two that were lifted right into the air as they jumped over the waves - pretty impressive.
This week's must have item in the market seems to be a fluffy bag. In a variety of colours and styles - rucksacks and ball shaped ones like a squashed panda's head on a chain strap. Must be a dry weather accessory as it would be like carrying a damp dog if it got wet in the rain.
We had a lunch date at La Cassola today as it was their last day of opening this year. A full house with everyone looking forward to them opening again in March.
With full stomachs and a glass of limoncello to finish the meal it was definitely siesta time. I had a mini nap while Ian went for the real deal. I'll be surprised if he sleeps tonight!
We're all shut up and curtains closed by 6.30pm tonight. Doesn't seem possible that 2 months ago it was light until after 9pm. Got the doors closed before the lights went on to avoid any mozzies sneaking in - although we haven't noticed them over the last few days as it's got a bit cooler.
As there are still several places that we've not visited we may head out on a little exploration tomorrow. Let's see what the day brings.
