15th October Phone Case Mystery

We managed to time our collection of Paul and Kate from the airport to perfection. As we were coming down the motorway we could see a plane in the distance going to land and a few minutes later received a message to say they'd landed! So by the time we'd parked up round the corner to wait for them to come through arrivals they were ready for collection. A quick pitstop to pick them up (signs alert you to a maximum of 2 minutes!) then we were on route back to the apartment.

Back here we got out of the car and couldn't find my phone cover. I had only taken my phone, in it's case, to the car. As it was being used for navigation I had to remove it from it's case, plug it in and place it in the holder. The case I am convinced I put in the glove box because that's what I always do. But on returning I unplugged my phone, went to the globe box but there was no case! No idea where it went - we had torches out looking last night in the dark and this morning Ian had another good search. Absolutely got not a clue as to where it can have gone 🤔.

This meant my phone has been in an old soft sunglasses case today tucked in my bag. It's been quite alien having to handle a phone not in a case and I worry about dropping or damaging it.

As it was Roses market we had a look for a replacement but none anywhere. We'll have to try the Asia Market sometime.

Kate was pleased with her new bag purchase.

As we were up at Roses we had packed lunch and snorkeling stuff to go on an extended walk.

Enjoying the walk along the coast.

We found a bay for a snorkel. Kate stayed dry while the rest of us went swimming with the fish. It was the best snorkel I've had this trip with loads of different fish. Really like swimming in an aquarium especially with the fish coming up close.

Getting into holiday mode. Paul came out of the sea with an injury - managed to cut himself on coral. First use of the first aid kit so glad I have one in the rucksack.

Lizard spotting on the way back. This was a decent size, about 6 inches long.

We tracked down a geocache near the light house so have added another one to our log.

Walking back through Roses we spotted a mini Porsche rally. I liked the one that is in Top Gun. You can just about see it second right from the yellow one.

After our 7 mile stroll we enjoyed watching the tail end of the rugby out on the balcony (England won in the end!), before dinner out at La Cassola. We've booked a boat trip to Cadaques for the morning with a 9am start. Early breakfast but at least the boat starts at the harbour in Santa Margarita which is only a couple of minutes walk away.
