28th September A Day of Rest

Not masses to say today as we've had a quiet day. It's been hot and sunny again so this morning I spent on the balcony in the cool as the doesn't come tound this side until about 3pm. Ian wanted some sunshine so took a chair out the front door and sat out there reading.

I finished my cross stitch this morning. Quite a colourful project.

This afternoon Ian has been trying yo mend our storage box. Infuriatingly one of our renters decided that they wanted to find out what was in the locked box and broke it. I hope they were disappointed to find my old slippers, half empty paint tins and general DIY stuff. Not worth all their effort in breaking the latch 😬.

We did venture out later this afternoon to stock up on bulky items (potatoes, sparkling water, eind etc) and mozzie killer, so took Rolo for a spin. Back in time for an afternoon cuppa.

Another lovely sunset this evening and forecast looks good tomorrow. After our quiet day I think we'll go out and about tomorrow.
