As we walked along we spotted people wearing tabards and looking like marshalls for some event. We came across signs and it was the 30th anniversary of a Roses 5km run/walk. Then turning the corner and we were nearly run over in a crush of emerald t shirt wearing joggers.
We continued against the tide of green and fought our way along the pavement to the local market. This week we picked up a few items including a pair of snazzy swimming shorts for Ian at the bargain price of €1!
With all the jogging going on we extended our walk to the marina to check out the day the car parking fees change. They've changed this year so it's only free from 30 November - 30 March. It used to be end September - end May!
This afternoon Ian has been working on the tiling. All completed and a good job done. Then it was a gentle snooze and a read in the afternoon sunshine.
Tonight we've eaten out at La Bola, a restaurant around the back of the apartments. A very filling 3 course meal, including wine and sparkling water for €32. Luckily only a short walk back for our evening entertainment of a Touch of Frost DVD.
