21st September Water Bill Sorted

After our abandoned visit to the water board office in Roses yesterday, we had good weather and walked in. The sea was calm and looked ideal for a lilo outing later.

This time the office was open and after a bit of a wait we got all the details confirmed and updated. Yay!

As a treat to celebrate we had a coffee and a hot out of the oven chocolate chip cookie for elevensies. Well we had walked all the way there and we needed energy to walk back 😄.

By the time we'd ventured out for our return walk the wind had picked up, the sea was choppy and the kite surfers were out in force. No lilo outing today as too choppy for me to attempt to a) get on the lilo and b) if I did get on it, to stay on!

We ended our walk by going to see what the canal was like as it's usually flat calm despite the sea conditions.

It's been overcast but warm this afternoon. Ideal hammock conditions for Ian and sitting on the balcony reading and sewing for me.

My sewing is coming along quite well.

With our ice cream stocks running low we even went on a second walk to the supermarket - we must be feeling energetic today. Not so sure about whether it'll be dry enough tomorrow for a walk so if we can't walk at least we've walked loads today.
