A dull, drizzly but warm day today. At breakfast we compared weather forecasts and the Met Office were saying 80% chance of rain and clearing whereas Ian's was 20% chance of rain and getting worse! So based on that we decided against walking into Roses and took Rolo.
Just as well because we arrived at the water board office and they were closed due to a power cut! It also started to drizzle. Back to Rolo and home.
This meant the rubbish weather was ideal conditions for housework... and you know my feelings on housework! 😄.
Anyway I got on with tackling the shower and bathroom while Ian was on drain duty.
The remainder of the day was spent on the balcony reading and sewing whilst listening and watching the rain. Quite therapeutic and definitely better than sitting in the van listening to it on the roof.
I even made some flapjack today 😋.
Tomorrow we'll hopefully get to the water board office and find it open.
